Coaching Methods and Skills
Introduction to Psychology

Spanish by birth and married to a Chinese, Jon Echanove is an accredited coach and trainer of executive coaches residing in Beijing and Managing Director of the Academy of Executive Coaching China. He has developed most of his professional career as top manager in multicultural environments, helping individuals to integrate and grow in new and changing environments.
A big part of Jon’s life is his passion for human behavior. Starting with his background in organizational behavior and leadership he has gradually moved to the pure psychological and emotional dimensions. He is currently member of the ECCO (Evolution, Complexity and COgnition) Research Group of the Free University of Brussels, conducting a research on the impact of uncertainty in individuals.
Supporting people to make meaning of the changes in their lives, gaining clarity of their needs and choices or simply offering the support they need in difficult transitions is one of his most rewarding living experiences.
